Allowed Digimon Partners
what digimon you can create for a tamer
what digimon you can create for a tamer
All canon digimon for the first three series of digmon are allowed, but must be in their rookie forms. Gatomon, for example, would be Salamon in his/her ordinary, partnered form.
Please note that wild digimon are not restricted except for cases of bioemergence, in which we will discuss each case as it comes.
- must be a rookie
- can be an evil and/or virus type digimon
- partnered digimon should be discussed beforehand (can be in chat) before approval
- digimon that skip digivolutions are not allowed. They must all follow the Baby -> In-Training -> Rookie -> Champion -> Ultimate -> Mega pattern. Impmon will be slightly modified so that he evolves normally rather than directly to Beelzemon.
- all digimon partners must be unique. Wild digimon before rookie form, excluding those shown to have multiples in the anime (such as Floramon) are permitted to have multiples.
Digimon Information
how digimon evolve on this site
how digimon evolve on this site
All digimon evolve from their rookie form to champion, from champion to ultimate. Digimon that biomerge will be in their rookie state, including Ryo's digimon, Cyberdramon (despite being different in the anime).
From Rookie to Champion is simply called digivolution.
From Chamption to Ultimate is called matrix digivolution.
From Rookie to Mega is called biomerge digivolution.
Wild digimon will digivolve normally, as per season 1 digimon. Armor digimon does not exist on this site.
Digimon de-digivolving from their mega forms will return to rookie in normal situations, but in cases of severe injury in battle they will return to their in-training state. Tamers can be injured if hit in their biomerged state.
In most cases digimon that are of a weaker digivolution will not win. A champion will not defeat an ultimate, an ultimate won't defeat a mega.
About Digivolution
-- digimon with a tamer usually digivolve with the swipe of the digivolution or matrix digivolution card. However, in extreme cases where tamer or digmion are in life-threatening situations they may evolve to Champion without it.
To evolve to champion: you are required to have 3 battle threads with various digimon with various outcome (does not have to be a win) and 3 threads of interaction between the tamer/digimon, preferably bonding, but not always the case, before your digimon can evolve to champion. Once these requirements are met, the final requirement of having a good reason to digivolve must be met as well.
To evolve to ultimate: on top of the champion requirements, 5 more threads of each type are required, and three threads of digivolving to champion (excluding the first) must be completed. These could include the three battle threads. Digivolving to champion is not always necessary for every battle. Once again, the final requirement of having a need to digivolve must be met.
To evolve to mega: 5 more of each type of thread, as well as three threads of digivolving to ultimate must be completed. The final requirement is that your digimon cannot defeat the opponent in their ultimate state and a life or death situation in which they are de-digivolved to their rookie form is needed.
Please contact a moderator if you are unsure whether you meet the requirements. You must have moderator permission to digivolve for the first time to each rank.
