Rules of the Site
what you should know before you post
what you should know before you post
1.) We are a one character per account website. We recommend having an OOC account that we know you by.
2.) You may have one canon character: a canon character is any character that is directly from the television series, including the major digimon. Exceptions include playing paired partners. You may keep that one canon character indefinitely but if you are not active you will lose it.
3.) Members are not allowed to insult each other or swear at each other. Vulgarities in role-play should be kept to a minimum. Please note our content rating guide as a reference for role-play threads.
4.) Moderator influence will be kept to a minimum so member entertainment is at its highest. This means we will not be mini-modding every thread you do. However, we have requirements regarding digimon evolution, card gathering, usage, and so on, so that your character isn't biomerging within 2 threads of creation.
5.) You may not harm a member's human character without permission or destroy a digimon character without permission. Digimon are slightly different as they do not take injuries in the same way as humans do.
6.) Power-playing and god-modding are not allowed.
7.) We expect a level of literacy as follows:- fair spelling (use spell check if needed). Spelling errors are okay as long as it doesn't detract from the post but too many is distracting.
- readable grammar. We can always help if you struggle with grammar and/or if English isn't your first language.
- your personal capitalization style is allowed (i.e. all lowercase because that's your style, not because you don't know how to use capitalization). All caps is not allowed, however...
8.) Please use a readable font/font size, font colour, and so on. Excessively bright backgrounds are hard on the eyes, and we ask you to use calmer colours to fit in with this site.
9.) You may have both a tamer and that tamer's partner, even if canon. More clearly: you can own both Rika and Renamon as it's far more simple that way than having two people role-play them. You do not have to own both and can choose whether to keep them or not or allow another role-player to claim them.
10.) All digimon will be rookies when not digivolved. That is not exactly canon but it makes things more fair for our purposes. There are exceptions in the case of marineangemon who does not have an in-training, rookie, or ultimate form.
11.) We recommend a minimum word count of 100 but understand that sometimes that is not always possible. We require most of your posts to meet that word count. If the person/people you are role-playing with do not meet the word count you are also allowed to miss the word count, especially if there isn't enough to respond to to hit it.
12.) Please read the other threads in this board before making your first character!
